Irrigation across the Atlantic Seaboard & Southern Suburbs.
We install complete systems, from the pump to the pop-ups, and check them twice a year in autumn and spring. You don't need a garden contract for either.
Seasonal servicing.
Two checks a year, timed to the Cape rather than the calendar. Spring, before the dry season starts leaning on the system. Autumn, before the winter rain takes over and a leak can run for four months without anyone noticing.
- Every zone run and watched
- Pop-up heads cleared, straightened, replaced where broken
- Drip lines flushed and blocked sprayers cleared
- Valves and fittings checked for leaks
- Controller reset for the season ahead
- Written note of anything that needs fixing, with a quote
If we already do your garden, the check happens on a scheduled visit and you don't need to arrange it. If we don't, we come out for the irrigation on its own.
Repairs.
Systems fail between checks. A solenoid burns out, a mower takes the top off a pop-up, a spade finds a drip line. We quote the fix and do it — you don't wait for the next seasonal visit.
Installation.
Full systems, installed by our own team: mainlines, valves, spray and drip zones, and the controller to run them. Tanks and rainwater harvesting where it makes sense, with the pump and the pressure sized for the garden rather than guessed at.
Installations are quoted per site after a walk-round.
What's not included.
- Borehole and wellpoint drilling (a separate trade — we work with what's already there)
- Municipal supply plumbing
Pricing.
Every system is priced after we've seen it. Seasonal checks and installations are both quoted on a free on-site assessment, with a written quote within two working days. An old system that has been extended three times takes longer to work through than a simple one, and the quote reflects that.
Frequently asked.
Do I need to be a garden client to use this?
No. Irrigation is a service on its own. If we already do your garden the seasonal check happens on a scheduled visit and you don't need to arrange anything. If we don't, we come out for the irrigation alone.
Can you work on a system you didn't install?
Yes. Most of the systems we service were put in by someone else, some of them decades ago and extended several times since. Part of the first visit is working out what is actually buried out there.
Do you drill boreholes or wellpoints?
No. We install and service systems, tanks and pumps. Drilling is a separate trade and we don't pretend otherwise.
Something has broken now. Do I wait for the seasonal check?
No. Breakages are quoted and fixed when they happen. The autumn and spring checks are for catching what hasn't broken yet.
Related services.
Irrigation sits alongside garden maintenance for most clients. New vegetable beds are set up with their own drip lines as part of the build. International owners have the lot bundled into home management.
